Um...Gelato Anyone?

I haven't had gelato for quite some time. When I was walking to the convenient store to get some snacks, I suddenly wanted to eat some gelato. I remember a gelato store nearby so Shar and I walked there.

The store name is called Gelateria Naia, which is located in North Beach. It's a very modern looking store that sells yummy gelato. 

The flavors that we chose are Chocolate Malt and Pistachio.

Review: Kao Odorless Steam Eye Mask

I bought this eye mask last month when I went to Misuwa Market to get some snacks. It was on sale so I thought I might give this a try since I really need a relaxing eye mask at night. 

I think this was originally around $10 for a box of 5 pieces but I got it for about $8! I think it was a great deal that I saved $2! I am the type of person who calculates every bit of thing before buying it. Then in the end, I end up not buying it so you could say I am good at saving money. Ha-ha!

Kao sell three different type of this steam eye mask: lavender, chamomile, and odorless. The one I bought was odorless.

OOTD + Relaxing for just a day

Today's raining again! I still can't believe it's still raining in March. I need some spring warmth now! I demand it! 

Do you know what should you do on a cold day like this one? No right??! It's going in a big hot tub and going in the sauna. My family (all women, of course!) and I went to this place called "The Hot Tub". It's a place where you sit and relax in a big hot tub or go steam some sauna! The place is very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly too!

NOTD: Sinful Colors "Mint Apple"

Since today is St. Patrick's Day, I have painted my nails green. This is Sinful Colors "Mint Apple". I bought this a couple weeks ago and this is my first time using this color. I think it's a gorgeous color with shimmer in it. 

As you can see in the photo, the color didn't come out as clear as I wanted them to be; therefore, you cannot even see the shimmer in it. I'll try to post a more focus and clear photo next time!

Review: Model 21 Eyelashes

If you have been following me on this blog, you will know that I never put any false lashes on when taking picture for anything. That is because I still didn't master the applying false lashes technique yet. I tried thousand millionth time to apply it but I always mess up with the glue. It seems like the lash glue had some kind of grudge on me. 

When I receive these lashes for review, I was so happy because they are very easy to use. It's great for beginner like me to practice with because with an affordable price you get a box of 10 pairs of lashes to use! I am amazed about the quality of these lashes.

My White Valentines Day

Yesterday was indeed White Valentine's Day. It's not a popular day here but I think it is in Japan. On Valentine's Day, girls are suppose to give chocolate to the guy they like or to the people they want. On White Valentine's Day, it's the guy turn to give chocolate back and give response to the girl who gave them chocolate on Valentine's Day.

Mr. L surprised me with chocolates yesterday but of course, he didn't make it himself. He also got me the blush I wanted, which is the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush.

I want to say thank you for giving me a great night filled with laughter and food. Even though, I had a terrible tummy ache after I got home, but I am still grateful for what he's done for me.

When I saw news about what happen yesterday with Japan, my heart ached. I was unhappy for almost the whole day. I hope the people at Japan are doing alright, which I know they aren't. People please help to pray for those who died because of this natural disaster. 

 

The 8.9 magnitude in Northern Japan was really unexpected. I don't know what to write anymore and just hope everything will be alright from now on.

By the way, I reached 100th posts. Finally, I made it there and hope to blog more this year.

Sorry for the lack of post this week due to the fact that I got some bacterial infection on my right eye. It was all puffed and swollen red couple days ago; therefore, I cannot put on makeup on my eye until it's fully healed. Luckily the eye drop and the ointment I bought works. I think the main reason for that infection was probably my fault for being in front of the computer for too long. 

I am making a goal to myself this spring to stay away from the computer whenever I don't need to do something important. I need to start getting back in shape too by doing more exercise such as running, When those big load of fats are coming out to say "Hello", you know it's time to be healthier and back in shape.
