Review: Wen Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner

Ever had a problem with your shampoo damaging your hair? I know I do. That is because regular shampoo consists of harsh chemical such as sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates that can damage hair, our health, and the environment.

WEN's founder Chaz Dean came up with a concept that cleanses hair without lathering and harsh chemical or detergent. It also strengthens, add sheen, luster, moisture and manageability to the hair.

The product being review is the WEN Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner. Want to hear my thoughts?

My Thoughts
Before using this cleansing conditioner, I would first rinse hair with shampoo then apply conditioner afterward. With this, I don't need to use two products. This product can also be use as a leave-in conditioner after cleansing hair. I love using multi usage product that actually work. After using this for about a month, I find that my hairs are a lot smoother and have more body. It does give hair a nice shine and radiant. I am happy that my hairs aren't as flat as before. I don't need to use a separate volume shampoo because this cleansing conditioner is all I need.

I love the scent of this cleansing conditioner. It consists of pomegranate and some other floral scent. I don't mind using shampoo or conditioner with a scent because after all, I want to smell pleasant too. The formula is very lightweight and thick just like the Pantene conditioner I used before.

WEN has different type of cleansing conditioner to fit the needs of your hair. If you have dry, sensitive, flaky scalp issues and thinning hair, you can try their Tea Tree Cleansing Conditioner. If you have medium to coarse, wavy to curly and ethnic hair, you can try their Fig Cleansing Conditioner. If you have normal hair or just want to add more hydration and moisture to the hair, then consider using this Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner that work for me.

Overall, I am very happy with this product! It gives hair shine, volume, moisture, soft, and manageability! I would definitely recommend this product! It's definitely worth the money in investing in something that is free of harsh detergent that damage our hair!

  5. I use a cleansing conditioner called Curl Junkie "Daily Fix" -- it's amazing. You don't need a lot but it's the same concept of massaging it into the roots of the scalp, and it cleanses without sulfates. I've never tried a Wen product before, but I am a big fan of cleansing conditioners, and even people who do not have curly/wavy hair (ie--straight haired girls) can definitely benefit as it is so gentle.

  6. @MandyI agree with you, Mandy. I think people of all hair type would love the benefits of cleansing conditioner. I don't think I will go back to regular shampoo anymore:)

  7. I have the same one. Although at the moment I have a human hair weave and kinda afraid it might not be the best idea to use it.

But when I used it on my own hair it smelt wonderful and felt great!
