Review: Annmarie Gianni Skincare Part 1

Recently, I was contacted by Annmarie Gianni Skincare to review some of their fabulous products. Their products are all natural, organic, and wild-crafted which really benefits our skin.

Many organic labeled products out there might not have the best ingredients in them. Annmarie the owner, always says if you can't eat it, it shouldn't go on your skin. Her skincare is absolutely chemical-free!

The review will be separated into two parts. This post is about their cleanser, toner, and facial oils. The next post will be about their scrub and facial masks.

Want to know what I think about this natural skincare? Stay tune!

Price: $24.00 (50mL)
Product Info
Aloe-Herb Cleanser is a gentle and cleansing blend of healing herbs and plants. This blend is pH balanced to enhance your skin's natural acid mantle and protect its moisture barrier for clean and silky soft skin. This is great for all skin types. It is gentle with no harsh detergents and always leaves your skin clean, nourished, and soft!

How to Use
Use in the morning and evening.
Apply to damp or dry skin, massage into face and neck then rinse.

My Thoughts
After using this cleanser, my face has been smooth, soft and CLEAN! This Aloe-Herb Cleanser gives my face a refresh feeling and I love it! The texture is very soft. The consistency of the cleanser is somewhat like a light cream I adore the smell of lemon in this cleanser. Beside lemon, I cannot scent another fragrance in this cleanser. If you love lemon scent, you will definitely like this cleanser! This cleanser leaves my face very moisturized and didn't strip away the original moisture in the skin. Overall, I am very happy and enjoy this cleanser a lot!

Neroli Toning Mist
Price: $27.95 (50mL)
Product Info
The Neroli Toner is a soothing, refreshing mist that helps bring your skin back to perfect balance. It can soothe sensitive skin, improve the appearance of your skin, as well as reduce the size of pores. Each use brings you closer to complete harmony, inside and out.

How to Use
Close your eyes and mist your face and neck. If needed, spread gently with your fingers to cover your skin surface.

My Thoughts
This toning mist sure does refresh your skin after cleansing with Annmarie Gianni's Aloe-Herb Cleanser. It's a great combination! I don't know how neroli smells like but this toner has a grape juice and herb scent. It reminds me of the grape juice with added sugar I used to drink when I was a kid. The toning mist didn't irritate my semi-dry skin at or cause it any discomfort. I have yet seen any result is reducing my pore size but I hope to see good result in the near future!

How to Use
Apply to clean skin. Dab a bit on nose, chin, cheeks and forehead and blend well. Best used as a moisturizer.

My Thoughts
I explained my current skin condition to the company, which is a bit oily on the forehead and somewhat dry to normal on the rest of the face. They sent me both of their facial oil to see which one works better for me. I like them both because they have their own advantage.

Since my forehead is a bit oily and acne is starting to grow on it, the Oily and Acne Prone Facial Oil helps with this issue a lot. Even though it's oil but if you put the right kind of oil, it can really benefit your skin in many ways!

After apply oil on my forehead, I apply the normal facial oil to the rest of my face as a moisturizer. Most of the time when I apply facial oils to my face, it sinks slowly into my skin but these two facial oil sinks in pretty quick than the one I've used before. The normal facial oil helps with the dry patches on my cheek area.

The scent of the Oily and Acne Prone Herbal Facial Oil is like natural herb. It's like what I smell in tree. As for the normal facial oil, it smells similar to the Neroli Toning mist with a hint of grape juice scent. Overall, I am impressed with these facial oils and continue to use it to get more result!

  5. I recently started looking at the labels of the skincare items I use, and I realized that most of them have parabens--even my makeup remover and sunscreen! it's nice to know that there are so many organic options out there :) btw what do you mean by witchcrafted?

  6. @Aiwendillie: I try to buy skincare that doesn't have harmful chemical. I'm sorry but that's suppose to be wild-crafted. It's a typo that I made. I changed it now. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
