NOTD: Butter London "All Hail The Queen"

Today's NOTD feature Butter London's All Hail The Queen. It is a tan-ish taupe color with holographic shimmers. 

I am totally in love with this color! I think I found the perfect taupe nail color for my skin tone! I even try this nail color with a matte finish top coat and it still look fantastic! I just cannot get enough of this nail color!

NOTD: Essie "In Stitches"

 

During my last post about my DermStore Haul, I mentioned that I will do swatches for the two Essie polishes that I got.

Today I will be showing you girls the swatch of the Essie "In Stitches". 

It's hard to capture the image of this polish because at different lighting, the color might change. The real color appear to be a plum-ish pink. It appear a bit darker than the picture shown above.

I absolutely love the color! Don't you?

NOTD: OPI- OPI Ink

OPI OPI Ink is my new obsession right now! Isn't it pretty?

This is a dark purple with pink and blueish purple micro shimmer! I am in love with this nail polish especially with its wide brush! With this color, you only need 2 coats to opaque. This complement my light-medium skin tone a lot!

I remember seeing a post about Julep Maven on Nancy's blog so I thought I might give this a try. This is monthly beauty subscription that's like Birchbox but I think it's so much better! This show featured the designs of six popular designers from Taiwan, all showcasing their lines in the US for the first time.  Pattie Yankee and the Dashing Diva team used Dashing Diva’s The Met polish – a warm white shade, on a short, oval nail extension.  The look was completed with a top coat of Dashing Diva’s Make it Matte polish.  For toes, the team used Dashing Diva’s Limo Service polish topped with black crackle polish.

Dashing Diva debuted their new DesignFX nail designs at the Jad Ghandour safari themed show.  The designer fell in love with the fierce Cheetah/Tiger print, Feline Menagerie.  DesignFX nails are stick on (like Minx nails but without the heat) and can be easily removed by peeling off - no drying time is necessary.  The girls sported DesignFX and Dashing Diva’s Flatiron District polish while the guys wore DesignFX on their pinky fingers.

Pattie Yankee worked with designer Mara Hoffman to create a clean/subtle look that would complement the intricate patterns and designs of the Spring collection.  Pattie used Dashing Diva’s Chelsea in the Buff polish on a natural shaped, short nail.  For one “stand out” model, Pattie used Dashing Diva’s The Red Carpet polish – a firey, bright red shade.

Review: Dr.'s Remedy Hot Hot Hot Summer Collection in Lovely Lavender, Glee Gold & Bold Baby Blue

A couple days ago, I show you two shades from the Dr.'s Remedy Hot Hot Hot Summer Collection. I will be showing you the remaining three shades from the summer collection which includes a lavender, gold, and baby blue.

Lovely Lavender

 

This is a pale purple with matte depth and charm. I would consider this lavender to have somewhat of a gray undertone to it The lavender shade is pretty and would compliment any skin tone.  This gives a nice creme finish and only 1 coat is needed to show enough pigmentation.

 I have always wanted to try these nail wraps when it came out of the market because it looks so easy to apply to get great nail design. I am very happy when I received the Broadway Nail Wraps to try! As you may know, I am not the type of person who's good at doing nail art so these nail stickers with different design come in handy when I want to dress up my nails a bit.
