NOTD: Milani Sail Away

 

Recently, I won a contest from Pretty City's Facebook page. The prize I received was the Milani's Sail Away nail polish! You can post your manicure pics at their wall on their Manicure Monday to try to win a nail polish!

I must say I really love the color! The formula and the brush are fantastic!  

Sail Away is a frosty blue color with micro shimmers. It has a purple undertone so in different lighting, you will see purple not blue.

I haven't worn blueish gray eyeshadow in a long time because I am more of a neutral color type of person. This dare to try post give me an opportunity to try out something I don't do regularly. This type of look is great for everyday wear and would look great for the holidays too! You just need to add a bolder eye shadow to make the eyes pop!

Review: Dr.'s Remedy Hot Hot Hot Summer Collection in Lovely Lavender, Glee Gold & Bold Baby Blue

A couple days ago, I show you two shades from the Dr.'s Remedy Hot Hot Hot Summer Collection. I will be showing you the remaining three shades from the summer collection which includes a lavender, gold, and baby blue.

Lovely Lavender

 

This is a pale purple with matte depth and charm. I would consider this lavender to have somewhat of a gray undertone to it The lavender shade is pretty and would compliment any skin tone.  This gives a nice creme finish and only 1 coat is needed to show enough pigmentation.

Today's EOTD features different kind of ocean blue shadows in the ELF 100 Eyeshadows Palette. Since summer is near, I want to create a beautiful eye look that looks like the blue ocean.

Today's FOTD features the MyFace Bling Tone Eyeshadows in Black Iced and Bellbottom Blues. It's a great dramatic look that will look even better in falsies but I didn't put any on.

Today I got bored and created a look.This soft midnight blue look is suitable for party or clubbing. This is not a tutorial but rather something I did for fun. I might do a tutorial if you guys like the look I created:)

This is my first time doing a FOTD. I am a newbie to all this makeup thing. I can't even use an eyeliner without smudging my eyeshadow. So if there are things I can improve on, please tell me.

This look is a smoky eye look I created for fun. I am still in the process of learning about makeup. I found it to be very fun and it can really make a difference. Maybe next time I will do a natural look; a look I can wear everyday when I go out.
