June's Mini Trip to Jamestown, Sonora & Columbia State Park (Pics Heavy)

(Enjoying an ice cream on a hot day!)

I will try to catch up with posts more often when face start healing up those blemishes on my forehead. My diet has been horrible lately so stress keep building up and that may be the cause of those blemishes.

Anyways, we went to these towns the same day we went to Lavender Hollow Farm. The three towns are about an hour drive from the lavender farm. It was really fun visiting historic sites but it was hot as hell during that day. I wish to visit more of these small towns to see the history of what once had happened.

I don't want to talk much since the pictures will show you Our adventures. Let's Go!

Knights Ferry

Knights Ferry Covered Bridge

There is something that I've never told you guys, that is I am really afraid of heights! As I am walking across the bridge, I felt like I am going to fall as soon as I saw the empty space between the woods. I was getting uncomfortable and wanted to go back but I can't because I am standing in the middle of the bridge, I don't know whether to move forward or walk back. I just hold on to Mr. L the whole time!

I don't know why but I think this is a bug in iPhone 4G's camera.

This is me cam-whoring in the entrance of the bridge!

Mr. L's back

Jamestown

Finally we arrived at Jamestown!

My fat leg:)

This man is nice and kind to us. When we went inside the jail, he explain its history and lots of stuffs. I was so scare that I didn't went inside the actual jail and take a look because it was super dark.

Near Jamestown, we found this railroad with trains. The train is still running but as a attraction. You can pay and sit on the train while having lunch.

Sonora

Columbia State Park

Even though it said state park but it doesn't look like a park but rather like a small theme park with no ride. I think they rebuilt Columbia and make it an attraction town. There are lots of different buildings and shop. We even see a few people dress up as old westerners like in cowboy suit. An old man was playing a musical instrument and it makes the town sound so lively! I learn so much about their history!

Can you guess what this is? This is actually a funeral car where the coffin goes in that trunk!

We came across another jail but this one is not that dark as the one in Jamestown.

Mr. L is exploring the jail. There are actually two cells in this jail. The doors were lock but Mr. L tried to break open it! Of course, he failed.

Thank you so much for coming with me to this marvelous adventure!
I look forward to our next mini trip!
